Lamyaa Elgen (b. 1995) is a British-Moroccan self-taught artist living in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, where she combines her multidisciplinary practice under her studio, Elatrasi Atelier.
She is an international award-winning cinematic singer-songwriter, self-taught pianist, and composer under the name elatrasi. Her latest release, “Lighthouse,” was acknowledged by Abbey Road Studio and BBC Introducing Radio and is currently funded by Help Musicians to develop a collaborative body of trailer-inspired work.
Surrounded by the tranquillity of nature as a neurodiverse and invisibly disabled artist, Lamyaa felt inspired to slow down and re-develop her unique voice in traditional landscape painting.
Six months of practice and refinement, combined with 25 years of experience, culminated in the creation of her debut collection's first painting, Serenity in Buttermere, which was sold immediately at the Keats House by Hampstead School of Art Fair Exhibition in June 2025.
Lamyaa will also be featuring on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Season 11, airing from January 2026.
